GCI participated the 18th TenMeT Annual General Meeting

On 14th November 2024, Green Community Initiatives (GCI) had the privilege of participating in the 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Tanzania Education Network/Mtandao wa Elimu Tanzania (TenMeT). The event took place at the prestigious Julius Nyerere International Convention Center (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam, bringing together key stakeholders dedicated to advancing education in Tanzania.

The TenMeT AGM is an essential gathering of NGOs, education experts, government officials, and community leaders, all focused on discussing strategies and solutions for improving the education landscape in Tanzania. This year’s meeting was particularly notable as it included elections for the new TenMeT Board members, alongside the confirmation of new representatives. These changes mark a new chapter for TenMeT as it continues its mission to enhance educational access, quality, and equity across the country.

For GCI, being part of this dynamic network means more than just attending meetings; it is about contributing to a shared vision of empowering communities through education. We exchanged ideas, learned from other participants, and explored potential collaborations that will help us strengthen our own initiatives in environmental education, advocacy, and community development.

As we reflect on the insights gained, we are excited to incorporate new strategies and work alongside our partners to bring impactful change to our communities. We remain committed to supporting sustainable development through education and advocacy.

Stay connected with us as we continue to champion causes that matter and build a brighter future for the next generation. Together, we can make a lasting impact!
